Good start Kevin! I especially like the water photo. I'd like to see you try it again with daylight and a simple background. Otherwise, good work on your fast shutter speed.
Your last slow shutter photo is excellent! The first two need to be re-shot because they are blurry. A tripod will help you a lot...and make sure you don't bump it when you're taking your long exposure.
